1. Information We Collect
Account information: Email address, company name, role/title when you sign up.
Usage data: API calls, documents processed, features used, timestamps.
Uploaded documents: Trade documents you submit for processing. These are stored encrypted and isolated per organization.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) process your documents and return extracted data; (c) track usage for billing; (d) send you product updates and security notices; (e) respond to support requests.
3. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored in Singapore. Documents are encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption. See our Security page for details.
4. Data Retention
Uploaded documents and extracted data are retained for 90 days by default. You can request earlier deletion at any time. Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with: (a) cloud infrastructure providers for hosting; (b) AI processing providers for document extraction (only the document content is shared, never your account information); (c) payment processors for billing.
6. Your Rights
You may: request access to your data; request deletion of your data; export your data via the API; withdraw consent for non-essential data processing. Contact privacy@tradelayer.app.
7. GDPR
For EU/EEA users: we process data under legitimate interest (providing the Service) and consent (marketing communications). A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request.
